We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Fulfilment Associate to join the team working across all of the different divisions, and helping to achieve our overall ecommerce goals for 2022.

Picker/Packer Job Responsibilities:

  • Hours are 10am to 12pm on Saturdays (2 hours per week)
  • Pay is minimum wage for the age group.
  • Picks and packs product based on daily orders.
  • Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Keeps products separated, organised and in good rotation.
  • Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Utilises continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
  • Daily customer service of inbox, mobile, answering phones
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (see below)
  • Development of role supported.

 

Picker/Packer Skills:

  • Scanning and sorting outgoing stock
  • Picking, packing, and loading
  • Receiving, stocking, organising, and stacking
  • Monthly stock take
  • Good level of written English

 

Education / Experience

  • GCSE or equivalent
  • 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred

 

Duties List

1. Print invoices, process orders, pick goods, pack into boxes/mail bags, manifest Royal Mail, DHL Express and Global Mail, DPD, pack boxes based into mail bags based on mail type/country. Hand bags/manifest to couriers.

2. Customer service - issue refunds, approve returns, respond to customer questions, answer product related queries.

3. Receive, count, and book in stock, advise on quality, incorrect quantities, or products sent.

4. Supplier ordering, manage and organise stock levels, advise when stock is low, advise on slow moving products (weekly).

5. Identify new shipping options.

6. Keep office supplies in stock, eg. large letter cardboard boxes, grey mail bags, dhl express and global mail flyers and boxes, sellotape, brown tape, windows, integrated labels, paper, printer toner.

General Fulfilment

Print invoices, process orders, pick goods, pack into boxes/mail bags, manifest Royal Mail, DHL Express and Global Mail, DPD, pack boxes based into mail bags based on mail type/country, manifest all couriers including Prime in Seller Central (SC). Hand bags/manifest to couriers.

Greyed out orders, know what to do in event of an order needing to be unlocked or unparked.

Prime and Premium - check at order cut off time end of day on linnworks/SC, know what action to take in event of issue with Prime/Premium order

Order volume control measures - turn off prime and premium within SC, take action when fulfilment levels become unmanageable/risk in being unable to fulfil.

Order prioritisation - undertake order prioritisation based on courier arrival times (in priority order : Prime, Expediated, Back orders, all other orders received on the day), ensure manageable process is in place to print, process, pick, pack, and manifest orders based on these two factors.
Order pick/pack rate - PPE order aim is 35-40 per hours, microblading order aim is 20-30 depending on complexity

Understand Royal mail and DPD local quotas, produce report on a weekly basis (once dpd is onboarded with Amazon) to understand where quotas not being met, take necessary action to meet quota.

Resends - understand inventory management principles underpinning resends, if customer needs only part of order resent, understand what action to take to issue RMA, and which shipping to apply.

Customer Service

Issue refunds, approve returns/resends on all channels, manage eBay return and respond requests, respond to order queries on all channels within 24 hour time frame, advise customer if order is out of stock, answer product related queries, respond to low rating feedback on Amazon, issue shopify discounts.

Add marketing flyers and samples to all shopify orders, add flyers to eBay order, understand reason for doing so.

 

 

Stock Control

Confident booking in all deliveries unaided, counting products match back to invoice, add to my inventory, check quality and quantities of goods. Confident ordering all mail supplies e.g. card board boxes & letters, grey mail sacks, dhl windows/flyers/boxes, dpd mail bags, paper, toner, office equipment/stationary.
